Well, let's look at that... I didn't think I'd be a position of defending Trump, but I dislike misinformation and would rather have uncomfortable truths, so...

Of course Trump has never been convicted of rape - which you are quite correct in not trying to claim. But you consider his sexual conduct not traditionally presidential, perhaps? I beg to differ. Jefferson (D) had an affair with Sally Hemings, Roosevelt (D) with Lucy Mercer, Harding (R) with Nan Britton and Carrie Fulton, Cleveland (D) with Maria Halpin, Kennedy (D) with Marilyn Monroe and Judith Exner, and of course that paragon of virtue, Clinton (D) with Monica Lewinsky and Paula Jones and Juanita Broaddrick and Kathleen Willey and Jennifer Flowers.

So, Trump is very much par for the course, especially in this period of history where even the slightest hint of scandal is pursued relentlessly. Who knows what would have come out about Clinton during a period such as have - oh wait, it has... Epstein.

So, I disagree on the premise, but I do agree that women of this period of history may well view behaviours differently from previous generations. I hate to break it, but around 20% of the men reading this will also have had an affair, along with 15% of the women. Sexual misconduct is everywhere and it's not going to change just because someone says it's not ideal. Hopefully they are all still qualified for their jobs...

What about the claim Trump is financially benefiting? Well, the facts tell a different story... Reagan increased wealth by 45% during his term, Bush senior by a whopping 475%, Clinton by a staggering 13746%, Bush by 100%, Obama by an also staggering 5285%, Biden by a whopping 414%, and Trump? Well, he actually lost net worth by 20%. So, I'm not really sure where you got your information, but you might want to double check it to see if you can locate any actual facts.

Honestly, if you are waiting for a blemish-free president then you are in for a long wait. You might well pass up the best candidate for the country, which is what I would be caring about - you know the saying about cutting off your nose to spite your face, right?
